James Beard Dinner at Union Market
Composing an event with a rich cast of partners to relaunch the historic Union Market.
Roadside Food Projects spearheaded the FoodCorps and James Beard Fundraiser at Union Market on June 3rd, 2012 with prolific real estate developer EDENS. The event raised over $100,000. The FoodCorps/James Beard Fundraiser positioned Union Market- the oldest farmers market in the city- at the forefront of the food renaissance in DC, amplifying its rich legacy as a culinary hub. EDENS consulted Roadside Food Projects to manage event logistics, secure culinary talent, manage publicity, and outreach to sponsors.

She recently exhibited her work entitled "The Rhythm of Chaos" at the Gulf and Western Galleries. Gabrielle is a dedicated vegetarian and avid proponent of organic lifestyles.

He grew up in the country-side of Vermont, where he learned to be passionate about buying local and supporting small business from his parents who are both restauranteurs. Eli currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia but is planning a Magellan-esque global journey. Coming soon to a city near you.
